CreedLance is Nigeria’s largest jobs and workers crowdsourcing marketplace, built to connect businesses, enterprises, and individuals to the full spectrum of work opportunities across the country. The platform removes rigid job classifications, enabling users to both hire and be hired regardless of scale or industry.

Designed to support professional services, large-scale contracts, freelance work, and skilled labor, CreedLance empowers users with the belief that any worker can be an employer and any employer can also be a worker. This philosophy drives a flexible, inclusive system that adapts to Nigeria’s diverse workforce needs.

Founded in 2023, CreedLance continues to evolve through transparent roadmaps, community feedback, and ongoing system improvements. With a focus on safety, trust, and scalability, the platform aims to unify Nigeria’s workforce into a single, accessible ecosystem for work, services, and economic growth.

Nigeria’s job platforms serve the formal CV-and-vacancy market and ignore everyone else. CreedLance set out to be the marketplace for the full spectrum of work — where a business can hire a developer, a household can find an electrician, and the same user can hire in the morning and be hired in the afternoon, with no rigid job classifications in the way.

We engineered CreedLance end-to-end on a full MERN architecture: an Express + MongoDB backend and a React frontend (Vite + Tailwind), with the same codebase packaged as a native mobile app through Capacitor. The marketplace runs on project posting and competitive bidding, an application-to-interview pipeline, reviews, referrals and a social feed.

Real-time is core, not a bolt-on — Socket.IO drives live chat and notifications, with Firebase push for mobile. The media pipeline processes uploads through Cloudinary with server-side image optimisation, and an OpenAI integration assists users in the product. The API is security-forward: JWT auth over httpOnly cookies, rate limiting, input sanitisation against injection, and hardened HTTP headers.
